The Back Post Podcast will kick off at the start of the 2025-26 season. Rob Lilley will host the show alongside co-hosts Pete Dudley and Scott Waple, all of whom are avid followers of non-league football in the Essex region.
But what and who will we be featuring? Well we are more than aware that Steps 6 & 7, namely the Thurlow Nunn South and the Essex Olympian Premier contain well established clubs that deserve some representation regionally. Initially we will be concentrating on these divisions. However, after a small discussion, we will also be including the Essex Olympian League Division One and East Thurrock Community FC in the Essex & Suffolk Border League, with the community club bringing football back to East Thurrock following the collapse of East Thurrock United.
As we begin our shows, we want to start small but are naturally thinking big in terms of our content. So we will be inviting various guests from club managers, players, club officials, league officials, volunteers and others. Guests will be invited to join us on the sofa’s in our studio or remote via Zoom.
